In my country, the cost of living has raised in the last five years, that is because the economy has been weakening. Another factor that have affected is that the unemployment have been getting bigger every year, because some sectors of the industry have lost power. The inflation have increased a lot in this time, so the food, petrol and property have been getting more expensive.
In Costa Rica insecurity is what has changed more drastically in the last years. It could be a result of the increment of the cost of living. The levels of students dropping out has been increasing too and as a result, unemployment have increased. The amount of traffic is higher now, people have changed the bicycle for a new car and the pollutions levels have increased a little.
